Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.47 per share, or $1.88 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on August 23, 2013, to stockholders of record on July 26, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of July 24, 2013.

The annual yield on the dividend is 6.9 percent.
