Private equity firms TGP and JC Flowers and Britain's Resolution Group are said to have bid for Allstate's (NYSE: ALL) Lincoln Benefit Life subsidiary, said Reuters, citing sources. The subsidiary could be valued at $500 to $900 million. JC Flowers and TPG have teamed for a joint bid.
