Jefferies Maintains Buy on Pier 1 Imports (PIR) Ahead of Results

Jefferies reiterated a Buy rating and $28 price target on shares of Pier 1 Imports (NYSE: PIR) ahead of Q1 results next Thursday before the open.
The firm said while they don't envision this as a big catalyst for the stock, expecting to see further evidence of sales momentum driven by the loyalty card and contributions from the online business.
"We continue to feel the real opportunity to exceed EPS expectations is in the back half of the year after the POS rollout is complete," analyst John Marrin said.

Shares of Pier 1 Imports closed at $23.54 yesterday.
