52-Week High:
- Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) $3.08. Rite Aid announced a new debt refinancing plan and issued Q1 EPS guidance that came in above the consensus. For more color, click here.
- Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) $26.83. Morgan Stanley higher as Macquarie started that stock at Outperform with a price target of $30.
- CA Technologies (Nasdaq: CA) $29.83. CA making a strong move to the upside one volume today. Prior to today's session, the stock has seen resistance at the $28 level, but shares aren't heavily shorted at 1.9 percent of float. This is the strongest level CA has been at since 2001.
- Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (NYSE: KKD) $18.69. Krispy Kreme higher on National Doughnut Day. Following strong quarterly results last week, CEO Jim Morgan spoke with Jim Cramer on Thursday's "Mad Money." For more color, click here.
- Walter Energy (NYSE: WLT) $15.37. Walter Energy still lower as coal stocks can't seem to mount a recovery. Raymond James lowered the stock from Market Perform to Underperform today.
- VeriFone Systems, Inc. (NYSE: PAY) $16.91. VeriFone continuing lower following quarterly results earlier in the week. No catalysts have been presented today to reverse the move, which may continue for the next few sessions as shares got below a recent support level at $18.
- Prospect Global Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: PGRX) $0.1261. Prospect announced today its decision to extend its previously announced rights offering to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Monday, June 10, 2013. Stockholders who have not exercised their rights may still do so within the extension period. Those stockholders whose shares are held through a brokerage account, bank or other nominee, will need to provide investment instructions to the nominees not later than 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on Monday, June 10, 2013. The rights offering was originally scheduled to expire on June 6, 2013.
