Pepsi (PEP) May Acquire SodaStream (SODA) in $2B+ Deal

SodaStream (Nasdaq: SODA) shares are ripping in early trading following reports it might be in takeover talks.
Israel's Calcalist comments today that PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP) might be looking to acquire SodaStream for over $2 billion. Goldman Sachs was said to be tapped to lead the negotiations.
Bloomberg said that calls made to SodaStream CEO Dan Birnbaum and HR head Yonah Lloyd were not returned for comment.
SodaStream is indicated over 30 percent higher ahead of the opening bell.
