China watchdogs cleared Yum! Brands (NYSE: YUM) after a mix-up on Monday, reversing a previous statement naming it as the recipient of questionable meat, according to reports in WSJ. On Monday Shanghai Food Safety Committee said it seized meat meant for Yum! Brands –owned Little Sheep. On Friday, the agency said the statement was erroneous and there was no connection to the questionable meat and Little Sheep.
