Jack Henry (JKHY) Raises Quarterly Dividend 53.8% to $0.20; Boosts Buyback by 5M Shares

Jack Henry (NASDAQ: JKHY) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.20 per share, or $0.8 annualized. This is a 53.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.13. The dividend will be payable on May 30, 2013, to stockholders of record on May 17, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of May 15, 2013. The annual yield on the dividend is 1.7 percent.

Its Board of Directors also increased the remaining 4.14 million share stock repurchase authorization by another 5.0 million shares, bringing the total current authorization to 9.14 million shares.

This increase in our dividend and share repurchase authorization evidences our confidence that these trends will continue and our commitment to deploy our cash to the benefit of our shareholders."
