52-Week High:
  • Pepsico, Inc. (NYSE: PEP) $83.44. Pepsi getting a lift from solid Q1 results, with EPS of 77 cents topping consensus views by 6 cents. Shares rose up about 5.8 percent at the start Thursday.

  • Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) high of $51.67. Verizon also up on strong quarterly results. Q1 EPS of 68 cents and revs of $29.4 billion compared with consensus views calling for EPS of 65 cents and revs of $29.6 billion.

  • Theravance, Inc. (Nasdaq: THRX) high of $33.31. Theravance ripped nearly 19 percent on the session following a positive FDA panel vote for its Breo Ellipta COPD treatment. For more from the release, click here.

  • Union Pacific Corp. (NYSE: UNP) high of $143.62. Union Pacific reported Q1 EPS of $2.03, beating views by 5 cents. Shares up 4.9 percent on the session.
52-Week Low:
  • Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) low of $390.81. After falling 5.5 percent Wednesday, traders finding little reason to get back in the name today. The stock is comfortably below the $400 level, having moved nearly 3 percent lower on the session.

  • Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (NYSE: FCX) low of $27.24. Freeport hit early after missing Q1 EPS views by 13 cents per share. The stock is currently up on the session.

  • Exact Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: EXAS) low of $6.93. Exact slammed today following preliminary analysis showing that the company’s Cologuard colorectal cancer screening test met or exceeded all primary and secondary endpoints of its recently completed DeeP-C pivotal clinical trial. Shares fell over 30 percent at the start, but have since gained some back.
