New Oriental Education & Technology Group (NYSE: EDU) is sharply higher Friday on 'take-private' chatter. Speculators are pointing to a revealing Alibaba interview with CEO Minhong Yu, which some say suggests he could follow in the footsteps of some other embattled U.S.-listed Chinese stocks and take the company private.
Mr. Yu admitted he was "very, very tired" amid the pressure to grow from being a U.S.-listed company and voices "regret."
Shares of New Oriental are up 8.5 percent.
