Finisar (NASDAQ: FNSR) 10% LOWER; Jefferies downgraded from Hold to Underperform with a price target of $7.50 (from $14.00)

Life Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: LIFE) 10% HIGHER; has retained Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Moelis & Company LLC to assist in its annual strategic review. The board of directors has not decided on any specific course of action.

American Greetings (NYSE: AM) 8% HIGHER; the Weiss Family disclosed they delivered letter to the Special Committee reiterating the Weiss Family’s Proposal and increasing the price offered per share in connection with the Proposal from $17.18 to $17.50, net to the seller in cash

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) 8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.45, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.02 billion. Excluding DVA, Fourth Quarter Net Revenues were $7.5 Billion.

Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) 7% HIGHER; Jefferies upgraded the stock from Hold to Buy while raising its price target from $13 to $19.50

Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) 7% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.41, $0.20 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.62 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.88 billion.

Trius Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSRX) 6% LOWER; intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Citigroup and Leerink Swann are acting as joint book-running managers and Baird is acting as a co-lead manager. The offering is subject to market conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.51, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $13.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.76 billion. Intel sees Q113 revs of $12.2 billion to $13.2 billion, versus $12.91 billion consensus. Gross margin percentage: 58 percent, plus or minus a couple percentage points.

Tessco Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: TESS) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.65, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $204.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $186.08 million. Tessco Technologies, Inc. sees FY2013 EPS of $2.05-2.15, versus the consensus of $2.09

Geron Corporation (NASDAQ: GERN) 4% HIGHER; Piper Jaffray initiated coverage on the stock with a Overweight rating and $3 price target.

Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) 4% HIGHER; Janney Montgomery Scott upgraded from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $129.00

General Electric (NYSE: GE) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.44, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $39.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $38.71 billion.

Parker Hannifin Corp. (NYSE: PH) 2% HIGHER; rreported Q4 EPS of $1.19, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $1.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.93 billion.
