lululemon (LULU) Hit as Improved Q4 Outlook Still Falls Flat

January 14, 2013 4:23 PM EST
lululemon athletica (Nasdaq: LULU) shares are getting hit in late trading Monday following an update to fourth-quarter 2012 expectations.

The maker of higher-end athletic wear said it sees revs at the high-end of its $475 million to $480 million range based on recent comps. The number compares with the Street consensus of $489 million. EPS should be about 74 cents, in-line with consensus views.

Some might attribute the outlook as consistent with recent action by the company. In December, lululemon was hit as extended discounts caused concern.

Shares are down 7.3 percent late. For more color on the outlook, click here.
