- Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) $26.49. Pfizer shares continuing higher after getting EC approval for an expanded Prevenar 13 indication yesterday. The stock did get some positive momentum after a 1.6 million block trade earlier this morning crossing through $26.32.
- Hologic Inc. (Nasdaq: HOLX) high of $23.22. Hologic popping today following publication of a study comparing regular, old 3D mammography and 3D mammography using tomosynthesis. For mre color, click here.
- Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) high of $162.55. Visa rising after getting a positive nod from Goldman Sachs earlier. For more color, click here.
- Stryker Corporation (NYSE: SYK) high of $58.74. Stryker said it sees fourth=quarter sales of $2.3 billion and FY12 sales of $8.7 billion. The preliminary numbers compare with consensus views calling for Q4 sales of $2.27 billion and FY12 sales of $8.59 billion.
- School Specialty, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCHS) low of $0.68. School Specialty slammed after defaulting on certain obligations and entering a forbearance agreement. Click here for more color.
- ITT Educational Services (NYSE: ESI) low of $14.47. ITT moving lower as peer Apollo released quarterly metrics after markets closed Tuesday. In addition, Citi slapped a sell rating on the stock today. For more from Apollo, click here.
