Sovran Self Storage, Inc. (NYSE: SSS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.48 per share, or $1.92 annualized. This is a 6.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.45.

The dividend will be payable on January 28, 2013, to stockholders of record on January 14, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of January 10, 2013.

The annual yield on the dividend is 3 percent.
