Family Dollar (NYSE: FDO) will release its 1Q13 earnings report on Thursday, January 3rd before the market opens. Heading into the print, analysts at Goldman Sachs maintained a Buy rating and a price target of $77.00.
"Despite the more challenging industry backdrop, we continue to expect accelerating double-digit EBITDA and EPS growth throughout FY13 as consumers begin to respond to FDO's sales-driving initiatives," said analyst Stephen Grambling.
He sees downside as limited given lower expectations.
