SandRidge Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SD) 8% HIGHER; signed a definitive agreement to sell its Permian Basin properties to Sheridan Production Partners II, a privately held Houston-based oil and gas company, for $2.6 billion in cash. SandRidge announced on November 8 that it was exploring the sale of the assets.
Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE: JBL) 6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.61, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.41 billion. Sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.50-0.58, versus the consensus of $0.59. Jabil Circuit, Inc. sees Q2 2013 revenue of $4.3-4.5 billion, versus the consensus of $4.38 billion.
Accenture (NYSE: ACN) 5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.06, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.67 million versus the consensus estimate of $7.29 million. Accenture expects net revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 to be in the range of $6.9 billion to $7.15 billion, versus the consensus of $7.17 billion. Accenture sees FY2013 EPS of $4.24-4.32, versus prior guidance of $4.22-4.30 and the consensus of $4.27. For fiscal 2013, the company continues to expect net revenue growth to be in the range of 5 percent to 8 percent in local currency.
Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBY) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.03, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.73 billion. Comparable store sales in the fiscal third quarter increased by approximately 1.7%, compared with an increase of approximately 4.1% in last year's fiscal third quarter. Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. sees Q4 2012 EPS of $1.60-1.67, versus the consensus of $1.75. Bed Bath & Beyond sees FY12 EPS of approximately $4.48 to $4.54, versus the consensus of $4.62. Announces new $2.5 billion stock buyback.
Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE: BKR) 3% HIGHER; holder DC Capital Partners offers to acquire the company for $24.25/share through KS International.
Endo Health Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: ENDP) 1% LOWER; said the U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, dismissed the case of Endo's subsidiary, Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc., against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Accenture expects net revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2013 to be in the range of $6.9 billion to $7.15 billion, versus the consensus of $7.17 billion. Accenture sees FY2013 EPS of $4.24-4.32, versus prior guidance of $4.22-4.30 and the consensus of $4.27. For fiscal 2013, the company continues to expect net revenue growth to be in the range of 5 percent to 8 percent in local currency.
Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. (NASDAQ: BBBY) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.03, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.02. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.73 billion. Comparable store sales in the fiscal third quarter increased by approximately 1.7%, compared with an increase of approximately 4.1% in last year's fiscal third quarter. Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. sees Q4 2012 EPS of $1.60-1.67, versus the consensus of $1.75. Bed Bath & Beyond sees FY12 EPS of approximately $4.48 to $4.54, versus the consensus of $4.62.
