Washington Federal, Inc. (NASDAQ: WAFD) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, or $0.32 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on December 31, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 27, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of December 24, 2012.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2 percent.
The dividend is being accelerated from the normal January payment date in consideration of potentially higher dividend tax rates in 2013. This will be Washington Federal's 120th consecutive quarterly cash dividend.
