Rigel Pharma (RIGL) Hit as OSKIRA-4 Misses Secondary Endpoint (AZN)

Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: RIGL) getting hit early following an update on OSKIRA-4 by AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN). OSKIRA-4 is a Phase IIb monotherapy study of fostamatinib.
Astra said fostamatinib met the primary endpoint, but missed the secondary one "as all fostamatinib monotherapy doses were inferior to adalimumab monotherapy at week 24 based on DAS28."
Shares of Rigel are down 11 percent in early trading Thursday.
