Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) shares are on watch Wednesday as Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) and Coinstar (Nasdaq: CSTR) detailed launch plans for Redbox Instant. The service will have a beta public launch sometime in December.
Pricing on Redbox Instant will be $8 per month, comparable with Netflix's $7.99 per month rate. The duo also said that, "[f]or $1 more, or $9.00 per month, customers can opt to redeem their four credits for rentals on Blu-ray Disc at the kiosk."
