Unusual 11 Mid-Day Movers 11/27: (ACAD) (IMMR) (PPHM) Higher; (NEPT) (MMR) (STV) Lower

Acadia Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACAD) 137.4% HIGHER; reported that pimavanserin met the primary endpoint in the Phase III trial by demonstrating highly significant antipsychotic efficacy as measured using the 9-item SAPS-PD scale (p=0.001).

Immersion Corp (Nasdaq: IMMR) 30.2% HIGHER; shares are ripping higher Tuesday following a release earlier stating that it entered into a settlement and license agreement with Google, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOOG) and Motorola Mobility LLC, resolving the patent infringement litigation brought by Immersion against Motorola. Shares are up over 23 percent early.

Neptune Technologies (Nasdaq: NEPT) 29.3% LOWER; lower as shares were halted for the better part of November following an explosion at its Quebec plan. The company also announced that on November 9, 2012 it filed a Notice of Opposition in Australia against Aker Biomarine ASA's patent application no. AU2008291978 entitled "New Method for Making Krill Meal".

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPHM) 26.8% HIGHER; energized as the pharma sector receives some positive attention from Acadia today.

Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RAH) 26.5% HIGHER; ConAgra (NYSE: CAG) will acquire Ralcorp for $90 per share.

Transcept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSPT) 14.0% HIGHER; reports that Purdue Pharmaceutical Products, L.P. (Purdue), the Transcept U.S. commercialization partner for Intermezzo (zolpidem tartrate) sublingual tablet C-IV, is launching a national direct-to-consumer (DTC) promotional campaign, including digital, print and television advertising to support Intermezzo commercialization.

Zalicus Inc. (Nasdaq: ZLCS) 13.6% HIGHER; announced that Z160, its first-in-class, oral, state-dependent, selective N-type calcium channel (Cav 2.2) blocker in Phase 2 clinical development for chronic neuropathic pain, has been chosen by Windhover as one of the Top 10 Neuroscience Projects to Watch. Mark Corrigan, MD, CEO of Zalicus, will provide a summary of Z160 during his presentation at the Windhover 2012 Therapeutic Area Partnership meeting being held at the Westin Copley Place Boston at 1:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 29, 2012 during the Top 10 Neuroscience Projects to Watch session.

McMoRan Exploration (NYSE: MMR) 13.6% LOWER; lower as RBC Capital downgraded the stock to Sector Perform and JPMorgan issued negative comments as well.

China Digital TV Holding (NYSE: STV) 11.5% LOWER; continuing to see pressure following Q3 results released last week.

Thor Industries, Inc. (NYSE: THO) 11.5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.59, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.62. Revenue for the quarter came in at $875.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $876.8 million.

China BAK Battery, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBAK) 9.5% LOWER; recoiling a little after ripping 54 percent Monday on stronger volume.
