Globe Specialty Metals, Inc. (NASDAQ: GSM) declared a semi-annual dividend of $0.125 per share, or $0.25 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on December 28, 2012, to stockholders of record on December 17, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of December 13, 2012.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.8 percent.
NOTE: Globe Specialty Metals declared an annual dividend of 25 cents with its most recent earnings report. This appears to be an acceleration of those payments to beat the impending fiscal cliff. Otherwise, the quarterly rate is 6.25 cents per share.
