Apollo May Acquire McGraw-Hill (MHP) Education Business

According to reports in the New York Post, private equity firm Apollo Global (NYSE: APO) is considering a deal to purchase McGraw-Hill's (NYSE: MHP) education business for a price of between $2 billion and $3 billion.
McGraw-Hill announced plans to split its financial and education business last year, and in July The Post reported it would also seek a possible sale.
Apollo and McGraw-Hill both declined to comment, but reports say talks are ongoing.
