Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 11/21: (CLSN) (MYL) (EV) High; (STJ) (BBY) (TLYS) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Celsion Corp. (Nasdaq: CLSN) $6.47. Celsion making a strong pop above the $6.15 resistance level Wednesday. Volume on the move today is about 2 million shares, double the daily average.

  • Mylan, Inc. (Nasdaq: MYL) high of $26.58. Mylan announced a $500 million buyback today, delivering a little more value for investors.

  • Eaton Vance Corp. (NYSE: EV) high of $31.90. Eaton continuing higher following a fourth-quarter earnings beat Tuesday. Volume is once again heavier than normal, about 1.3 million shares having traded Wednesday. Shares are up over 7 percent on the shortened holiday week.
52-Week Low:
  • St. Jude Medical (NYSE: STJ) low of $30.25. St. Jude lower as the FDA criticized the pharma's Irvine, California, facility following analysis in late September/ early October. The FDA's concerns were mainly tied to Durata defibrillator leads.

  • Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) low of $11.41. Best Buy lower as analysts are now starting to question whether or not a takeover might even happen. Most think it won't happen above $20, though the market is always full of surprises. Click here for more color.

  • Tillys (NYSE: TLYS) low of $12.50. Tillys posted in-line Q3 EPS of 30 cents. The company guided Q4 EPS of 30 cents to 32 cents and FY12 EPS of 88 cents to 91 cents. The Street was expecting Q4 EPS of 35 cents nd FY12 EPS of 92 cents. Shares hit over 20 percent to the new low Wednesday.
