Don't worry, investors. Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is safe for the holidays...and for the next 20 years.
According to a new survey by Nielsen, Apple's iPad tablet is topping kids' charts as most-wanted items this holiday, with its iPod and iPhone not trailing too far behind. Notably, this is the third year in a row that the iPad is the most desirable amongst youngsters.
The iPad garnered 48 percent of votes from kids aged 6 - 12, while the Nintendo Wii U took 39 percent of votes. Apple's iPos Touch took 36 percent of votes, with the new iPad Mini receiving the same.
A "computer" came in fifth with 31 percent wanting one. And, for the 16th year in-a-row, "Tickle Me Elmo" was no where to be found.
Apple is down 1.3 percent Tuesday afternoon.
