Stocks Showing Strong Intraday Moves 11/19: (AMRS) (GMCR) (DECK) Higher; (AMPE) (SSN) (UTSI) Lower

The following are stocks making notable moves higher or lower after the start of trading today. This is in contrast to the typical measure of evaluating performance from the prior close.

Gapping higher:
* Amyris Inc. (Nasdaq: AMRS) - up 7.5 percent from the start today and 10.7 percent overall;
* Green Mountain (Nasdaq: GMCR) - currently up 8 percent after moving 6.5 percent from the open today;
* Magnum Hunter Resources (NYSE: MHR) - up 7.1 percent from the open and 9 percent on the day;
* Deckers Outdoor Corp (Nasdaq: DECK) - up 5.5 percent from the open and 6.8 percent overall; and
* GMX Resources (Nasdaq: GMXR) - about 9.5 percent better from the start, but gave a little back and is now up 8.5 percent.

Gapping lower:
* Ampio Pharma (Nasdaq: AMPE) - down 8.9 percent from a volatile open, though the stock is still up 3.5 percent today;
* Samson Oil & Gas (AMEX: SSN) - down 7.3 percent from the open and 6.9 percent on the day.
* UTStarcom Holdings (Nasdaq: UTSI) - down about 10 percent from the start, still up 14 percent today. Announced a reverse split earlier;
* K12 (NYSE: LRN) - down 5.4 percent from the start and 10.7 percent on the session. Wells Fargo downgraded shares earlier;
* Diamond Foods (Nasdaq: DMND) - down 4.2 percent from an open at $14.34 and now 9.4 percent lower from last Friday's close. Jefferies issued comments today.
