Emerson Radio (MSN) Delays 10-Q, Blames Sandy and Nor'easter

Emerson Radio Corp. (NYSE: MSN) files to delay its 10-Q.

"The delay in filing is principally attributable to delays caused by the effects of Hurricane Sandy and the subsequent Nor'easter."

The company expects to report net revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 of approximately $34.7 million, as compared to $41.4 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2011, a decrease of $6.7 million, or 16.1%.

The company expects to report net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 of approximately $1.9 million, as compared to $1.8 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2011, and diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 of approximately $0.07, as compared to $0.06 for quarter ended September 30, 2011.
