This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

- Gilead Sciences Inc. (Nasdaq: GILD) $73.25. Gilead iussed an interim update from its continuing Phase 2 ELECTRON study examining a 12-week course of therapy with the investigational nucleotide sofosbuvir (formerly referred to as GS-7977), the NS5A inhibitor GS-5885 and ribavirin in patients with genotype 1 chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.
Among treatment-naïve patients receiving this combination, 100 percent (n=25/25) remained HCV RNA undetectable four weeks after completing therapy.
- Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (NYSE: TSM) high of $16.59. Taiwan Semi higher after Goldman Sachs upgraded the stock from Neutral to Conviction Buy with a price target of $19. For more color on the move, click here.
- Mylan, Inc. (Nasdaq: MYL) high of $26.55. Mylan making a strong move above the $26.25 level today on volume. The mark was a resistance point over the last several sessions for Mylan. Shares have been on a strong run since reporting third-quarter results on October 25th.
- J. C. Penney Co. (NYSE: JCP) low of $18.25. J.C. Penney lower as S&P made a late-day downgrade last Friday and Credit Suisse also cut its rating to Underperform today. For more color on recent actions, click here.
- Star Scientific, Inc. (Nasdaq: STSI) low of $1.80. Star reported improved revenue and net income in its most recent quarter, but it still produced a pro-forma loss of 5 cents per share, which was flat with results in the same period last year.
- LodgeNet Interactive (Nasdaq: LNET) low of $0.14. LodgeNet filed a 10-Q late last Friday. In part, the 10-Q had LodgeNet entering deferment on debt payments to vendors.
- Molycorp, Inc. (NYSE: MCP) low of $6.61. Molycorp down again after falling 13.6 percent last Friday on disclosure of a formal U.S. SEC investigation regarding the accuracy of the Company's public disclosures and other items. Shares fell about 12 percent on Monday's session.
