Babcock & Wilcox Co. (NYSE: BWC) initiated and declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, or $0.32 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on December 17, 2012, to stockholders of record on November 19, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of November 15, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.2 percent.
