Meadwestvaco Corp. (NYSE: MWV) reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.4 billion.
In the fourth quarter of 2012, MWV expects earnings to be well above the modest profit the company generated in the year-ago quarter on a continuing operations basis.
