Centene Corp. (NYSE: CNC) reported Q3 EPS of $0.78, $0.31 better than the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.45 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.23 billion.

GAAP EPS in the quarter was 7 cents.

Centene Corp. sees FY2012 EPS of $0.56-0.66, which may not compare with the consensus of $1.43.
