Notable ETF Movers of the Day 09/19: (XHB) (GDXJ) Higher; (RSX) Lower

Gainers:

SPDR S&P Homebuilders (NYSE: XHB) is higher by 1.9 percent following a bullish report from the national association of realtors. The report showed that existing home sales rose 7.8 percent in August, outpacing expectations. Homebuilder stocks such as Lennar Corp (NYSE: LEN) are reacting positively to the data. Lennar is higher by 2 percent intraday on Wednesday. iShares Dow Jones US Home Construction ETF (NYSE: ITB) is also higher today, gained 2.5 percent.

Market Vectors Junior Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDXJ) is higher by 2.4 percent. Despite a flat gold market today, the junior miner ETF is having a decent day, outpacing Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: GDX) which is higher by only 0.90 percent.

Decliners:

Market Vectors Russia ETF (NYSE: RSX) is lower by 1.5 percent to 29.90. Shares in Russia are lower in part because of a decline in oil and energy related equities in the country. Shares of Sberbank declined after Russia sold a 7.6 stake in the company. In the past 30 days, RSX is higher by 9.6 percent.
