Jefferies Maintains a 'Hold' on Intel (INTC); IDF Day 2 - Assessing Credible Threats

Jefferies maintains a 'Hold' on Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) price target of $29.00.

Analyst, Mark Lipacis, said, "We left day 2 of IDF with the view that Intel now recognizes the iPad (Nasdaq: AAPL) and ARM-based (Nasdaq: ARMH) Android (Nasdaq: GOOG) tablets as credible threats, and has marshalled its vast resources to deliver more competitive x86-based tablets and Ultrabooks with the Windows 8 launch. The jury is still out on Windows-8 (Nasdaq: MSFT) as it has yet to launch, but INTC has gotten the iPad wake-up call and we are incrementally positive on the stock."
