Jefferies assumes coverage on Amedisys (NASDAQ: AMED) with a Hold. PT $14.00 (from $13.00).

Analyst, Brian Tanquilut, said, "While we are encouraged by AMED's improving admissions trends, the (1) new headwind from its HUM contract renegotiation, (2) potential Medicare rate cuts early next year, (3) the scheduled release of the rebasing rule in mid-2013, and (4) the stock's recent run-up make us conclude that AMED is fully valued at current levels."

Lowers FY12 EPS estimates from $1.01 to $1.00, but raises FY13 from $0.81 to $0.91.
