American Capital Agency Corp. (NASDAQ: AGNC) declared a quarterly dividend of $1.25 per share, or $5 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on October 26, 2012, to stockholders of record on September 21, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of September 19, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 14.1 percent.
