Barclays Maintains an 'Equalweight' on Omnicare (OCR); New CEO, Come on Down

Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Omnicare (NYSE: OCR) price target of $37.00.

Analyst, Lawrence C. Marsh, expects the company to formally announce the name of a new CEO this week. Currently, Marsh believes that interim CEO, current President/CFO, John Workman is the leading candidate. A confirmation would be viewed constructively.

Workman is well respected and the markets should view that announcement positively. At the same time, a possible stock buyback announcement (along with a normal dividend declaration) would be additional boost to the share price.
