Shareholders of Wynn (Nasdaq: WYNN) and Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) could be seeing big fat checks soon.

Both casino operators could announce a special dividend, according to Susquehanna analyst Rachael Rothman. Rothman said the odds are in favor or Wynn issuing a special dividend by year-end. She is positive on both stocks.

Last year, Wynn paid a special dividend of $5 per share and also pays a normal quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share, or 2 percent yield.

Las Vegas Sands pays a normal quarterly dividend of $0.25 per shares, or 2.3 percent yield.

One word of advice: Once you get the cash you might not want to run to the casino and be it all. Maybe put it in a CD or something. But if you can't help yourself and do bet it all on RED, you might again see some of that money come back to you in the form of a future dividend.
