Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) crossed above $700 per share for the first time since December 2007. Shares last traded at $709.45, up 1.4%.
Interestingly, Google is now solidly beating Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) in the race to $1000 per share. AAPL last traded at $680.75, although its market cap is nearly 3x higher.
Not only are the two tech powerhouses battling it out in the smartphones wars, but the stock price war may be even more exciting.
