Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day 09/05: (DIS) (LLY) (SRPT) High; (AMD) (AUQ) (ANR) Low

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) high of $51.24. Disney moving strong above $50.25 and $51 to all-time new highs. Could be getting a little boost as NFL get back underway with a NY Giants/Dallas Cowboys game tonight.

  • Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY) high of $46.36. Bernstein raised its rating on Lilly from Market Perform to Outperform, while boosting its price target from $46 up to $52. Lilly has closed higher seven of the last eight sessions.

  • Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRPT) high of $16.45. Late Tuesday, Sarepta announced entering a $40 ATM plan with Citadel Securities.

  • CNO Financial Group (NYSE: CNO) high of $9.54. CNO Financial said it will enter a new senior secured credit agreement consisting of a $250mn four-year term loan and a $400mn six-year term loan, as well as a $250mn private offering due in 2020. Goldman boosted numbers today.
52-Week Low:
  • AMD (NYSE: AMD) low of $3.42. UBS downgraded AMD from Buy to Neutral with is price target lowered from $6.25 to $4. Click here for more.

    AMD has been on quite the slide recently, dropping 15 of the last 18 sessions, or 16 of 19 with a close lower today.

  • AuRico Gold (NYSE: AUQ) low of $5.25. AuRico Gold hit after issuing an update on its Ocampo play in Mexico. The miner sees lower production and higher costs associated with the effort. Click here for more color.

  • Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE: ANR) low of $5.28. Following a downgrade from Dahlman Rose yesterday, Alpha Natural lower again as Raymond James trimmed its outlook on the miner. Shares have been lower six of the last eight trading sessions, excluding today.
