Barclays maintains an 'Equalweight' on Yingli Green Energy (NYSE: YGE) price target of $2.00.
Analyst, Amir Rozwadowski, reviewed Yingli's Q2 results as challenging. YGE's recent pre-announcement already lowered expectations, but now there's a clear challenge for the company to get to profitability.
On a positive note, shipments were in-line (590 MW) vs. Barclays estimates (586MW). YGE's management improved shipping trajectory may help the company emerge as a survivor in the industry. However, as ASP declines hamper costs..which will at least, temporarily, remain challenged.
Overall, Barclays remains sidelined, and more pressures make the firm lower FY12 EPS estimate from (1.20) to (1.95) and FY13 from (0.17) to (1.35)
