Amarin (AMRN) Shares Ramp Higher Following Publication of New Vascepa Phase 3 Data

Amarin Corp. (Nasdaq AMRN) shares are ticking higher after updatng on its MARINE Phase 3 for vascepa.
Amarin said the drug met primary efficacy endpoints and "significantly reduced median concentrations of large very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), total LDL, small LDL and total high-density lipoprotein (HDL) particles and reduced VLDL particle size in a patient population with TG ≥500 mg/dL. Vascepa did not significantly change the overall sizes of LDL or HDL particles."
Shares are up about 3 percent in late trading Tuesday.
