Altria Group, Inc. (NYSE: MO) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.44 per share, or $1.76 annualized. This is a 7.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.41.

The dividend will be payable on October 10, 2012, to stockholders of record on September 14, 2012, with an ex-dividend date of September 12, 2012.

The annual yield on the dividend is 5.3 percent.
