Cantor Fitzgerald reiterates a 'Buy' on Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) price target of $7.00 (from $6.00).

Analyst, Paul Mansky, said, "We expect market share gains in Fibre Channel, better execution in Ethernet, and rapidly improving balance sheet to be catalysts for reduced investor apathy over the coming year."

"The case for a strategic suitor is still questionable. However, we view the recent management/board transition, an activist owner at 9.2% (not un-related) and the proposed sale/lease-back as making the case for privatization incrementally attractive. If this were to transpire, we would view EV/Sales of 2.0x as reasonable, or $9-10."
