Nomura Securities maintains a 'Buy' on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) price target of $37.00.
Analyst, Rick Sherlund, said, "With the upcoming launch of Windows 8 it is necessary to remodel “PC” growth to include a broader range of PC form factors, including tablets. We remain positive on Windows 8 for new touch-based tablets and Ultrabook touch devices, and cautious about demand for Windows 8 for traditional mouse and keyboard systems. We have reduced our PC unit growth assumptions along with our PC analyst counterpart in Asia, which has a modest negative overall impact on our MSFT estimates. We are assuming PC plus Windows tablet shipment growth of +1% in CY’12, +10% in CY’13 and +8% in CY’14. Our F13E/F14E EPS goes from $3.00/ $3.32 to $2.97/ $3.26."
