Childrens Place (PLCE) Tops Q2 EPS by 4c; Boosts FY12 EPS Outlook, Guides Q3

Childrens Place (NASDAQ: PLCE) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.62), $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.66). Revenue for the quarter came in at $360.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $353.26 million.

Comparable retail sales grew 3.4% in the quarter.

Childrens Place sees FY2012 EPS of $3.20-3.30, versus prior guidance of $3.15-3.30 and the consensus of $3.23.

Childrens Place sees Q3 2012 EPS of $1.53-1.58, versus the consensus of $1.63.
