Good fortune at Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) is spreading throughout the retail segment Wednesday, following better than expected Q2 results issued earlier.
A&F reported EPS of 19 cents and sales of $951.4 million, compared with consensus views calling for EPS of 17 cents and sales of $994. Comps fell 10 percent. Abercrombie also added 10 million to its common repurchase authorization.
Abercrombie cut FY12 expectations earlier in August.
