Deutsche Bank reiterates a 'Buy' on Marvell (NASDAQ: MRVL) price target of $18.00.
Analyst, Ross Seymore, said, "We model F2Q13 revenue of $845m (+6% q/q) and PF EPS of $0.26 which is slightly below the Street consensus at $854m (+7% q/q)/$0.27. We model Storage revenue to rise +8% q/q as MRVL benefits from a loosening in HDD supply and adoption of 500GB platters. We are modeling Mobile & Wireless to grow +5% q/q driven by strong momentum in TD Smartphone shipments with competitive pricing pressure as a partial headwind. We expect Networking to grow by +5% q/q driven by seasonality. Our EPS est. also assumes a GM of 54.5%, flat q/q and in-line with guidance."
Overall Seymore expects that MRVL won't escape the macro pressures impacting the semi group, but believes that company can snap back faster and stronger than peers.
