UBS maintains a 'Buy' on Tesoro Corporation (NYSE: TSO) price target of $38.00 (from $33.00).
Analyst, Craig Weiland, Highlighted 2Q conference call: 1) TSO’s $0.12/share quarterly dividend will be reviewed periodically—in our view, a signal future increases are on the horizon; 2) share repos under its new $500MM authorization will be made opportunistically, with no definitive time period outlined for accelerated repurchases; 3) Hawaii refinery assets have received an encouraging level of interest and a sale by year-end looks likely; 4) retail ops are viewed as strategic segment with no consideration being paid to a separation."
FY12 EPS estimate raised from $4.35 to $5.15 and FY13 from $3.45 to $3.47.
