AT&T (NYSE: T) shares are lower in late trading Tuesday amid disclosure of a large insider buy.
According to a Form 4 with the U.S. SEC, director Scott Ford acquired 55,000 shares of AT&T stock on July 30th. Shares were bought for $37.43, valuing the transaction at $2,058,650 before any taxes, fees, or commissions.
Ford holds just the 55,000 shares following the purchase, as he joined AT&T on June 29th.
AT&T shares are about 0.3 percent lower in after-hours trading.
