Williams Financial Group reiterates a 'Buy' on D.R. Horton (NYSE: DHI) price target of $22.00.
Analyst, David N. Williams, said, "DHI turned mixed results, delivering slightly lower than expected revenue of $1.12 billion and EPS of $0.23 (ex DTA reversal) vs. consensus estimates of $1.18 billion in revenues and $0.21 EPS. While we are encouraged by the market improvements and obviously upbeat management outlook (among other metrics) which allowed for the DTA reversal this quarter, it was not surprising following recent moves by Lennar (NYSE: LEN) and a partial State DTA reversal from Meritage (NYSE: MTH) as housing trends continue building momentum."
"In our opinion, DHI continues to be an industry leader with diverse market positioning, a healthy balance sheet and modestly improving operating metrics, which will likely continue to drive outperformance vs. the peer group."
FY12 EPS estimate raised from $0.62 to $0.72 and FY13 from $0.99 to $1.06.
