OCZ Technology (OCZ) Jumps as Takeover Speculation Goes from a Dull Roar to a Growl

OCZ Technology Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: OCZ) is ripping higher in pre-open trading Friday as the second time in as many weeks the company is being mentioned as a takeover target for Seagate Technology PLC (NYSE: STX).
Last week, Funzilla discussed a potential Seagate bid for the company.
Today, the Register said Seagate may pay $475-$550 million in cash and $525-$450 million in stock for OCZ. Micron (NYSE: MU) and Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) may also be interested in the company.
Shares of OCZ last traded at $6.20 in pre-open trading, up 14 percent.
