RailAmerica (NYSE: RA) reported Q2 EPS of $0.34, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $0 versus the consensus estimate of $153.53 million.
Freight revenue increased 8% to $113.6 million with average revenue per car up 4% and carloads up 4%. Non-freight revenue increased 26% to $42.5 million.
